One of the internet users shared – “Called apparently from Corewell Health (formerly Spectrum) saying they needed to update information for my son, asked for his birthdate for security information. Asked if I could update information through MyChart and she kept pushing for birthdate in order to talk to me. Gave this phone number as a callback to verify – not sure how that proves anything? Went to MyChart and there were no letters, correspondence, or outstanding balance and insurance information is up to date. Beware, folks, they’re getting really sneaky.”
“I got the same thing as others have posted. The guy sounded like he was a mile away from the phone outside of saying my name, Spectrum Health, all while eating and drinking something. He did not have good answers for why I didn’t want to confirm my birthday, or as to why I couldn’t confirm my information when I got to the doctor. I told him I was busy and needed to do it later. Unsure if he will call back.”
