The Amazon Great Indian Festival has already started. It started on 4th October and this will last for an entire month. Amazon is a US e-commerce giant. It announced the launch of this year’s Great Indian Festival through a virtual press conference. At first, it announced that those who are prime members will get early access to deals and discounts available during the sale. The biggest rival of Amazon, Flipkart, also announced that its Big Billion Days 2021 sale starts today, that is, 7th October.
Today Amazon announced something new. They announced something called Prime Fridays. It means that during the Great Indian Festival promotion period, Amazon Prime members will get special offers on products. This will take place only on Fridays. The official promotion of Amazon started on the 2nd of October this year. Just like the previous years, this offer is expected to last until Diwali which is on November 4 this year. Starting from October 8th, Prime Fridays will begin with weekly special offers and discounts. In the announcement, Amazon said that Prime members will receive special offers. This will include cross-category savings. Along with that, additional benefits will be launched on Prime Video and Prime Music through a month-long holiday promotion.
According to Amazon, there will be special offers on many products. These products will include consumer electronics, TVs, smartphones, appliances, fashion and beauty products, Amazon devices, furniture, household and kitchen appliances, etc. This will also include the provision of coupons for additional rupees. For example, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G smartphone has an immediate cut-off of an additional Rs 1000. Similarly, using the HDFC bank card on iQOO Z3 5G will provide a discount of Rs. 2500. Another big deal is the rupee. Redmi Note 10S has a discount of Rs. 3000 immediately. Along with that, it has screen replacement free for six months.
Amazon will also provide special offers which include TV coupons and additional discounts on laptops and smartwatches. It will also provide huge additional discounts on Microsoft Xbox game consoles. But the biggest deal including discounts and offers is bound to be on Amazon’s devices like the Echo and Fire TV series. This includes the lowest price of the Echo Dot and an extra discount for the combination of Echo Dot and Fire TV.
Now comes the benefits of Prime Video. Amazon stated that users will be having access to new versions and trailers on Prime Video. This will include the second version of the stand-up comedy series “One Mic Stand”, the supernatural horror movie “Dybbuk” which stars Kannada and Emraan Hashmi, the special series “Maradona: A Happy Dream”, the documentary “Justin Bieber: Our World”, the film “Rathnan Prapancha”, the teenage horror series “ I know what you did last summer” and the Dave International titles including the “Green Knight” starring Patel.
