Early Life: Dakota Johnson was born on 4th of October 1989 in Austin, Texas. Her family was completely from film industry. Her father is Don Johnson who play the role of James Crockett in the 80’s hit TV series Miami Vice and her mother Melanie Rose who gain the fame for her role in the 1988 film Working Girl.
But their parents separated from her life and both of them put up with mightily from substances abuse issues. Not her parents, her grandmother Tippi Hedren is also popular for the role of The Birds back in the 60s. She attended the Aspen Community School for a time.
After that she attended the Santa Catalina School in Monterey, California, for her freshman year of high school before transferring to the private New Roads School in Santa Monica, California. She always wanted to be an actress, so she skipped her college and concentrate her acting life.
