Bachchan celebrated this fact by sharing some fond memories of his debut film with his fans. Memories came in the form of old pictures from his debut film, Saat Hindustani. This film was released exactly 52 years ago. Sharing the images, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “T 4089 – Signed my first film “Saat Hindustani” on 15th February 1969 and it released on 7th November 1969, 52 years, today!”
In the first of the two pictures, a young Amitabh Bachchan has a sad look on his face. In the second image, he is seen with the premium cast of Saat Hindustani. This appears to be a still from the film. The photo features veteran actors like Madhu, Utpal Dutt, and Jalal Agha.

On the occasion of Diwali, the actor shared a new picture with his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan. Along with the stunning image, he also shared a throwback old picture of the four, who sat in pretty much the same position, but decades ago. In the throwback photo, where Shweta is seen sitting on Amitabh Bachchan’s lap, Abhishek is held by Jaya Bachchan. On Friday, the 5th of November, Amitabh Bachchan also shared a black and white image of him holding a clapboard for the auspicious opening time of his iconic film Zanjeer. Sharing the picture, Big B said, “Javed Sahab sent this picture.” He was referring to writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar. Javed had actually written the script of the film with Salim Khan. The name of the movie and the auspicious time were written on the clapboard. The dateline on the board read “June 30, 1972”.
Thanks to social media, fans get to hear some interesting things about Amitabh’s iconic films, straight from the actor. Recently, the star shared a picture from the poster of his film Yaarana on the 40th anniversary of the film. He also talked about the song Sara Zamana. He said, “40 years of this splendid film Yaarana. This song was performed at NS Bose Stadium in Kolkata. First time shooting a film, complete madness, and well-wishers of Bengal. Nowhere can we compare their love and enthusiasm, to astounding.”
