Who Is Brittnee Dancho? Major Update in Disappearance of Maryland Woman

Maryland Police have confirmed that a woman who was missing was located, just days after news about her disappearance began to circulate on the internet.

Brittnee Dancho, 33, is a mother of three children, in accordance with a poster published on Facebook by the group Missing People in America on September 29.

Dancho who was photographed with long brown hair and scrubs, vanished of Salisbury, Maryland, on September 25. He left an alarming note behind in a variety of postings on social networks.

The story concerning Brittnee Dancho’s disappearance was widely circulated online.

On X, which was previously Twitter on X, previously Twitter called Rose and using the handle @901Lulu who writes about real disappearances and crimes and posted a flyer to her 50,000 followers that provides the description of Dancho as 5 feet 2 inches tall 120lbs, and driving in a 2021 Toyota Camry.

Rose also shared a photo of a letter she claims had been written by Dancho and says: “Please tell them I love them. Fed cat + dog. Love you all.” It also includes a number of numbers.

The purported note hasn’t been verified by the authorities The flyer was not designed in the hands of Maryland State Police.

A spokesperson from the Maryland Department of State Police informed Newsweek through email: “The Maryland Department of State Police did not issue any press releases or create any flyers regarding this missing persons case.”

The case still garnered interest on social media. The story of the disappearance was shared on Facebook, X, and YouTube.

Brittnee Dancho isn’t missing, according to authorities.

Missing People in America posted that Dancho was discovered on the 29th of September. The post was shared on Facebook and has received 2,500 views and the comments section is packed with more than 800 posts celebrating Dancho’s safe return.

If contacted via phone, a staff member of Maryland Police confirmed to Newsweek that Dancho was found alive and well across state lines in Virginia.

The spokesperson for the department stated to Newsweek that they were not involved on the “Missing People” in the America’s posts about Dancho.

“The Maryland Department of State Police do work with outside organizations to help spread the word however, it is my understanding, that we did not contact nor did this organization contact us for information regarding this particular case,” they stated.

Missing People in America is an organization that is independent. Its Facebook page states “Leveraging technology, our mission is to reunite missing individuals with their loved ones and advocate to combat the pervasive issue of disappearances.”

They have been contacted to feedback through their page on Facebook.

According to the Maryland State Police told Newsweek that there aren’t any people who are involved in the investigation and that the investigation has been closed.
