Let’s discuss Cobble Hill puzzles.
This is my introduction to Cobble Hill. Cobble Hill puzzle brand. Since 2005, they’ve been creating beautiful puzzles and interacting people with each other. I’ve worked on numerous Cobble Hill puzzles over the years and just enjoy the puzzles!
They have an amazing selection of sizes and themes. They make use of a low-glare linen paper, and they create many of their designs by hand, which means that their puzzles are completely original. I first encountered them when solving their Blue collage puzzle that is part of the Rainbow series.
Is Cobble Hill Puzzles suitable for you?
Cobble Hill Puzzles offers a variety of eight different piece counts in their puzzle lines. For advanced and adult puzzlers, they provide 500, 1000 and 2000 piece puzzles.
The Catsville as well as the Blue puzzles mentioned in this article are being displayed on my walls, they are part of the 1000-piece Black and White puzzle. Pieces are around 3mm thick.
Alongside tray and floor puzzles for children They also have a special range of their own.
The puzzles that are designed specifically for children are ideal for families since the size of the pieces range from small to large within the same puzzle. The larger pieces are ideal for children!
Their other puzzle line is dubbed “Easy Handling” that has 275 more pieces than standard puzzle pieces. It is designed for visually impaired people or those who require a break from the difficulty of larger pieces.
Cobble Hill Puzzles utilize the random cut method which means that the puzzle pieces won’t be laid out on a row by row grid. The pieces will be unique shapes, which adds a sense of an element of challenge.
These Cobble Hill Games are a great option if you’re concerned about the environment. The puzzles are constructed using 100% recycled materials and ink derived from vegetable sources. Their packaging too is recyclable.
The linen paper used in each image is stunning. The pieces have a wonderful texture and look, but there is also no reflection.
Non-Extreme Close-up View
The puzzle boxes and the reference posters use the same linen papers as puzzles are made of. Does it just me who loves to rub their hands across the finished puzzle to rejoice?
They are currently working on change in the size of their boxes so that you (and I too!) will be able to squeeze more puzzles in your collection.
Images Quality, Resolution and Image Quality
Image quality is a major factor when choosing the best puzzle. Who wants to take the puzzle with a blurry image? There is no need the worry of blurry pictures or images peeling away in the middle of the puzzle. Every puzzle I’ve worked on with Cobble Hill is perfect.
Theme Diversity and Originality
Cobble Hill offers a vast assortment of puzzles in a variety of kinds of categories, such as:
- T.O.P. Truly Original Puzzles
- Vintage & Nostalgia
Benefits of completing Jigsaw Puzzles
There are many advantages of doing jigsaw puzzles. They are perfect for keeping your mind sharp. I recommend them to improve my focus, dexterity in the manual in addition to hand eye coordination. To keep the brain from getting cloud!
In addition to these abilities, they also help to teach patterns recognition shapes classifying, colour recognition problem solving and even patience. It’s possible that I could benefit from the exercise with that one!
Based on my entire criteria Cobble Hill Puzzles is in Jen’s Top Five Puzzle Brands List. The linen finish is a major factor in my opinion; the it’s the most glare that puzzles suffer from.
I like the challenge of random pieces. Sometimes you believe you’re looking at one piece, only to realize that it’s actually a couple of pieces. FUN!
This reference sheet is a great resource to have, particularly if you’re stuck in a difficult spot.
Cobble Hill offers a nice variety of themes and images There’s sure to be something for all.
If you enjoy solving puzzles with sections (Like My BFF!) You’ll need an easy-to-move tray to transfer the sections onto your puzzle board or the area you work in. The pieces interlock and fit nicely, however they are it’s not enough snug to be lifted by the entirety of a piece or the entire puzzle.
A final note: Cobble Hill does offer replacement puzzles in case you’re missing one piece. The catch is that it needs to be delivered to you with no opening or purchased through their website.
