They actually hid some weird “membership” fee in the check out process. I had purchased my lady some items i thought she would think was cute, nothing crazy. Probably spent 30 bucks.
Fast forward to today, I noticed that my bank account was hit for 30 bucks from something called millenium internet. I’m like uh okay thats odd. called the number associated to it, and got a very generic customer service recording telling me to please hold, and no business or operating name is ever mentioned during this. A man answers the phone, and tells me that I had opted into a membership when I made this purchase and would not tell me

When I pressed for who the guy works for he said he did not divulge personal information on the call, and that information was not relevant to the call. He did refund me the money and claims that the membership was canceled and that i should see the refund in 7 to 10 business days but absolutely would not make any mention of anyone he worked for or who signed his check or anything.
