News alert! A new movie called Laal Singh Chaddha is coming up. The main actor is Aamir Khan and the main actress is Kareena Kapoor. The camera caught the actor and actress on the sets of Lal Singh Chaddha in Mumbai on Sunday, 12th September.
The paparazzi in Mumbai who was searching for some spicy news as always caught Kareen Kapoor and Aamir Khan in action on the sets of this upcoming movie. The pictures have gone viral. In the pictures, Kareena Kapoor stood wearing a hospital gown and a mask whereas Aamir Khan was in character with a turban tied around his head.
Earlier, on the very same day, a photographer found Kareena and Aamir having an intense conversation and he or she captured the moment. The paparazzi shared the videos on their accounts on Instagram. It showed that the two actors stood at a distance and were chatting. Kareena stood with a cup of drink in her hand and Aamir animatedly explained, what seemed to be, the scene they were about to shoot. This is the one and only movie where Kareena reunites with Aamir Khan after 3 Idiots. Kareena herself has also shared a couple of pictures in her Instagram stories on Sunday morning along with her team. She captioned them as ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and ‘Back with my loves’. In one of the pictures, the makeup artist was doing her makeup. In the other one, she and her team posed for the camera.
Have you seen Tom Hank’s Forrest Gump in Hollywood? If yes, you will find similarities between that and Laal Singh Chaddha. Laal Singh Chaddha is basically the Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump. This film marks Aamir Khan’s second collaboration with Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh. This film was scheduled to release in December 2020. However, due to this pandemic of Covid-19, the shoot came to a standstill. With this, the release got delayed indefinitely. After the lockdown in India eased, the shoot resumed its pace. At that time, Kareena was pregnant with her second son Jeh. Still, she joined Aamir for the shoots.
Aamir Khan formerly wrapped a schedule in Ladakh. With him were present his ex-wife Kiran Rao, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya, and other cast and crew of the film. They were shooting the film in the mountainous region of Ladakh. Weeks after this, Aamir and Kareena’s latest shot schedule came into view.
When asked to speak about it, Aamir Khan joked about it. He said that he had to deal not only with the pandemic but with Kareena’s pregnancy as well. In a video posted by his fan club on YouTube in April, he said, “Forrest Gump begins with a feather, the feather comes floating down from the sky and it goes over people’s shoulders and drives over a car. The wind kind of pushes it here and there, and Advait (Chandan), who is the director of this film, he and I often joke that when we took on this film, our lives have become like a feather- different winds are pushing us in different directions. We are just kind of flowing with it and we are just going to figure out where we land up by the end of the film.”
