Ramdev deletes his 9-year-old tweet on petrol price

The most common trend now on Twitter is trolling. It has gone to the point where it became a nuisance. Nowadays, celebrities and the general people all over the world fear to post anything because of this activity. So today, the victim was the famous Baba Ramdev. People are trolling Baba Ramdev is once again on Twitter regarding one of his old tweets on the price of petrol. This is a 9-year-old tweet. The supporter of the Modi government, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has come under the target of Congress leaders. The Congress leaders decided to bring his true self in front of the general public.

Youth Congress National President Srinivas BV shared a screenshot of Baba Ramdev’s 9-year-old tweet. This happened at approximately 9:36 pm on the 20th of October, Wednesday. In this tweet, Swami Ramdev had claimed that if black money comes back, petrol will be available at the rate of Rs 30 per liter in the country. This tweet was made on August 9, 2012, by the accused man himself. According to this screenshot, Baba Ramdev deleted the tweet sometime back.

While sharing this tweet, BV Srinivas took a jibe at Ramdev. He also asked Ramdev in a taunted tone that where did he go after deleting these tweets. It must be known to the public that during the UPA government, Baba Ramdev had launched a campaign of black money. Before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he openly came out in support of the BJP. He also heavily supported Narendra Modi. Now Congress leaders found a way to bring him down and prove the truth to the countrymen. They are now questioning his silence.

On the other hand, let us talk about the current prices of petrol and diesel. One might notice that after two days of stability, the prices of petrol and diesel were again increased by 35 paise per liter on Wednesday. With this rise, the fuel prices across the country reached a new high. The price of petrol has gone up to Rs 106.19 per liter in Delhi. It has also reached a record level of Rs 112.11 per liter in Mumbai. Also in Mumbai, diesel is now available at Rs 102.89 per liter. On the other hand, Delhi is also not sitting quietly. In Delhi, people are buying diesel at Rs 94.92 per liter.

Earlier, there was no change in the prices for the last two days. Whereas before that, the government increased the prices every day by 35 paise per liter. This went on for four consecutive days. The costliest fuel is in Ganganagar. This place is in Rajasthan. Here, people are buying petrol at Rs 118.23 per liter and diesel at Rs 109.04 per liter.

The people of the country can already see that the price of petrol is already above Rs 100 per liter in most parts of the country. Accordingly, the diesel rates are more in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Goa, and more than a dozen states and union territories, including Ladakh. It has also crossed that level of Rs 100. One must keep in mind that the prices vary from state to state. This is entirely based on local taxes.
